cre8colony is hosting consultation sessions with Academic Advisor, Dr June Tay, Head of Programme (Multimedia Technology Design) from Singapore University of Social Science (SUSS) on 17 & 18 June 2017. In view of that, we are pleased to extend an invitation to parents and students/alumnus with STPM, IB Diploma or A-Level leavers who are interested in making their mark in the creative industry, to come visit us on these days.

Among others, we will be highlighting our upcoming certification programmes, i.e. Creative & Digital Media (CDM) and Events & Hospitality Management (EHM) offered by our Academic Partner, the acclaimed Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS). We will also be offering 20 scholarships worth 50% of the course fees to deserving students for our intakes on July 2017, January 2018 and July 2018. This will be a great opportunity for students to find out what cre8colony is about, learn more about our pioneering certification programmes and meet with the Academic Advisor, Dr. June Tay from SUSS for a one-on-one consultation.

We have allocated four sessions for this purpose:

17th June 2017 – 10am – 12.30pm
17th June 2017 – 2pm – 4.30pm
18th June 2017 – 10am – 12.30pm
18th June 2017 – 2pm – 4.30pm

cre8 Launch & MOU SIGNING

Friday 14 April 2017 marked the arrival of cre8colony, a first-of-its-kind academic and training centre cum creative and collaborative workspace that connects aspiring new talents, especially those who wish to delve deeper into the creative industry, with established industry professionals, businesses and resources right in the heart of George Town.  A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony was held to officiate cre8colony’s collaboration with Singapore University of Social Sciences on unique work-and-study professional certification programmes that provide students access to real industry projects under the guidance of leading industry professionals and academic courses from SUSS.  Representing the university were the SUSS Provost Prof. Tsui Kai Cheong and Assoc. Prof. Teng Su Ching, cre8colony’s founders, Jonathan Foo & Angelina Cheong with Penang Chief Minister YAB Tuan Lim Guan Eng witnessing the ceremony.

Courses to boost new talents, Penang-based training centre inks deal with Singaporean varsity.
